Materio for Android
The same arithmetic as on the site, in your pocket and out of signal. Calculators, the material catalogue, rooms, projects, a PDF estimate, a unit converter and a map of builders' merchants.
What is in the app
Everything is worked out on the device. Out of signal too.
Material calculators
Paint, plaster, adhesive, tiles, panels, porcelain, wallpaper. Area and waste turned into whole packs.
Cut optimizer
1D and 2D first-fit nesting. How many bars or sheets to buy, kerf and off-cut included.
Material catalog
The whole material catalogue with real sizes, coverage per package and waste. Pick from the list; every value stays editable.
Rooms
Enter the room size once and get floor, walls, ceiling and perimeter. From there you go straight to the material.
Projects & quotes
Collect calculations into a project, see the total cost and waste, export the quote to PDF.
PDF estimate
A finished document with the lines, quantities and cost — to send to a client or take to the merchant.
Unit converter
Length, area, volume and mass. Metres to inches, litres to kilograms at a known density.
Store map
Find building markets and wholesalers by location and get directions to the nearest one.
Sync with the browser
Sign in in the app and on materio-app.com, and the projects and rooms are in both places.

The app and the site
The calculation engine is the same one — the site's code is a 1:1 port of the app's. What differs is what the device can do.
- The site calculates in the browser with nothing to install. Every calculator and the whole material catalogue are here.
- The app works with no signal, exports the estimate to PDF, has a unit converter and your own materials with their prices.
- With an account, projects and rooms are the same on the phone and in the browser.

Before you install
- Android 7.0 or newer. The app is free and has no in-app purchases.
- The app shows ads (Google AdMob). That is how it stays free.
- The store map uses Google Maps and asks for your location. You can refuse and type a city instead.
- The account is optional. Calculating works signed out; the account is only for syncing projects.
